Pandora Charms 925

Pandora Charms 925
Is this normal for silver jewelry?

I bought a Pandora charm of a store on Ebay that looked like a genuine seller (99.9% positive feedback, so the price seems fair.) But there appears to be announced .. And I'm sure it's authentic, because at the bottom of charm, says TLC 925. It seems that the charm the money come from? There is a discoloration on the charm. I can not really explain it, but here are some pictures, sorry not the best quality, but I had a camera to take cheap: http://s367.photobucket.com/albums/oo114/Graceful_xo/?action = view & current = http://s367.photobucket.com/albums/oo114/Graceful_xo/?action swan1.jpg http://s367.photobucket.com/albums/oo114/Graceful_xo/?action=view&current=swan2.jpg = view & current = Swan3.jpg What is this discoloration? Is it normal? "I can get rid of? If I do it myself? Thanks and Merry Christmas! :]

The "925" brand if authentic, indicates silver (92.5% silver, and the rest mainly copper for hardness) rather than silver plate. Silver tarnishes, but I think what you see may be a deliberate effect. Notice how the black color is not only in the recessed areas. Jewelers often apply a solution of sodium sulfide and silver to the copper surface. This blurring of a black metal. The tarnish is easily removed from the high areas, but remains in the hole. This adds a visual contrast of the room. It is also possible (but less likely) that the room sat around for a while before the sale, the seller and have cleaned quickly, causing the same effects. If you want to delete, you can try rubbing hard with silver polish, but could not get tarnished by cracks. An electrochemical method of disposal could tarnish the work – I linked to one (not I tried this method).
