Sterling Silver Neclace
Can I shower and swim with this neclace on?
So my grandma gave me this really pretty necklace and its a sterling silver chain with a tourmaline jewel inside. (I don’t know if thats how you spell tourmaline!) Can I shower and swim with it on without it getting rusty and nasty over time? Thanx!
the chemical compounds in tourmaline will not cause it to rust and sterling silver will never rust so you can but i would not recommend swimming with it on because the chlorine in the water can corrupt the grip that holds the jewel to the chain
